Spring into Action! Sustainable Gardening with Kate Burtonwood

Join us on Zoom for a chat with Kate Burtonwood, the Cultivated Gardener - currently to be found in her new role as Head Gardener of Trinity College Oxford

Thursday 25th March

6pm - 6:45pm - on Zoom (sign up on Eventbrite below to get the meeting room link)

Kate shares our passion for sustainability and wants to impress upon you that this is an important, current theme in gardens too. We will be having a conversation about her mid-life career change into horticulture and the people who inspired her, and her daily battles with everything and anything from an 80-acre country estate to a windowsill-size succulent terrarium.

Spring is just about to burst into action and Kate is ready to inspire us all with some simple, practical tips for every home gardener to get their gardens, window boxes and balconies flourishing - and on the side talk about how this might be your contribution to action to combat climate change .

We invite you to send your sustainable gardening questions in advance to social@inclusivetrade.com

Although Kate may not be able to answer all questions specifically, she will be able to look at the common themes to ensure that her tips for sustainable gardening and climate action cover all of your own concerns.

The event is free but please book in advance through eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spring-into-action-sustainable-gardening-with-kate-burtonwood-tickets-147624417607

We look forward to planting the seeds of change together with you all and seeing the buds of new hope for the future as we learn from Kate's varied horticultural experience.
