WTO make ethical procurement a reality

In September 2019, when the World Trade Organization (WTO) asked us to propose ethical, sustainable products which had a transparent supply chain… we were delighted to help them with their need for an ethical procurement system. We were delighted to offer them our Ethiopian hand spun and hand woven scarves by Muya.

These wonderfully soft ‘Gabi scarves’ were then packaged in Design by Nasha hand-printed recyclable tissue paper and re-usable hand-printed gift bags.

We worked closely with the WTO team each step of the way to understand exactly what their needs were and worked to develop special bespoke hangtags with custom notes for them as well. All products were accompanied by a special QR code and a post card about the story behind these wonderful artisan women and their lovely products all focussed on creating the special impact while being completely transparent and ethical!
