As part of the drive to develop global partnerships to achieve these UN SDGs (SDG17 focuses on Partnerships for the Goals), we connect consumers with sustainable suppliers and brands while linking all purchases to positive impact. The 17 SDGs are a global call to action to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, and all of the goals are interconnected.

The SDGs recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Just how it should be.

There are 17 goals, but we strongly focus on these three right now:

GENDER EQUALITY (SDG5): Empowering women and girls to ensure their equal rights. Gender Equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. All our manufacturers champion equal and fair pay, and many of our brands are female-led.

RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION (SDG12): Instant gratification and throw-away shopping have become the norm. Almost nothing is built to last, but made to be replaced. We believe it is our collective responsibility to promote a sustainable lifestyle; the less demand for cheap, replaceable tat, the more efficient industry can use resources and contribute to poverty alleviation.

CLIMATE ACTION (SDG13): Climate change effects every country on every continent. SDG13 is closely linked to SDG12 - our choices will contribute to low-carbon and greener economies. Our brands recycle where possible, and use resources responsibly.
